I feel like we are right there with you.
I was just talking to my kids about our collegue days: talking about volley until late, while Sia pretended he didn't heard a thing, or when we played volley at the gym or outside the apartments. Great times just wanted to let your mind be distracted a little bit.
My friend you are in our prayers for Malkolm's quick recovery and hope to see you soon.
Tons of love and kisses to everyone.
p.s I was showing the kids the pictures from Liz's weeding.crushhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12197712708601101093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5323756147595557668.post-48597679451217129812010-03-27T16:07:27.864-04:002010-03-27T16:07:27.864-04:00Hey Michelle -- I have to agree about the pain. It...Hey Michelle -- I have to agree about the pain. It was pretty intense for him, and yes, they definitely did downplay it a bit. The one tube, it just kept coming and coming, and it seemed like she pulled forever before it finally came out. He's still sleeping -- probably the best nap he's had in a while. At this point, I'm wondering if I should have taken a nap too.

I'm hoping to get Malkolm on the blog tonight to read comments and such so he'll be able to read Max's comment about him being brave and tough -- maybe put up a post too. huh huh huh - LOL! There was some of that too.

And we may have to let him have a root beer before he leaves. They have Barg's here in the cafeteria which is caffeinated (he loves root beer), so that might be just the thing. Thanks for your prayers -- maybe someday we will be able to come up to the ranch so you can meet Malkolm. I think it's great what you guys are doing there.Malkolmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12073799735575061200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5323756147595557668.post-87172675625861448522010-03-27T15:37:03.852-04:002010-03-27T15:37:03.852-04:00He has to feel so much better after getting those ...He has to feel so much better after getting those tubes out! I was amazed at how gigantic they are and how far up they went. Max was told it would be a "little pinch" while taking them out. What a huge lie! That was intense pain. Please tell Malkolm that Max feels for him and thinks he is brave and tough. He has been praying for his quick recovery.

We don't let our children drink caffeinated beverages either. It's not that we're health freaks by any means. It's just that I guess we've never come to that magic age where it's, "OK, chug way. You can drink caffeine now." I love that he said that. I'm betting that boy just might get his very own own Coke as he leaves the hospital. (Ours get one on their bday--they think it's too cool.)

I got a kick out of the laughing scene. I can remember the silly laugh Max would do. huh huh huh. huh huh huh.

I don't know Malkolm, but from here, he is mighty beautiful. The Wadeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15805015528223049604noreply@blogger.com
